When it goes under the couch, you don't crawl after it. Slide any metal rod underneath and it lifts itself out and comes back to you. When play is over it goes on the fridge door instead of the floor, so the toy is also where the toy is stored. The magnet is stitched in place with 100% cotton thread run through the magnet hole and into the wool body — nothing is glued.

Cut one open and it is wool the whole way through. Solid felted New Zealand wool — no plastic core, no stuffing, no bell, nothing rattling inside. It was wet felted into a base first, then needle felted into shape by hand, so it is one piece of wool from the outside in.

Under 4cm, and the uneven shape means it never rolls the same way twice — the path changes on every push, so where it ends up is never quite what your cat expects.

The bat, the eyeball and the pumpkin are built the same way, so October gear stays useful in November.
